Norfolk County Council - Temporary Traffic Regulation Order'

Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (WTRO6832) affecting the C55 Wormegay Road from 244 metres south of its junction with C822 Mill Drove for 456 metres southwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of Wormegay to facilitate patching works, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be from 22nd to 24th June 2026, but may continue to be closed/restricted until the 5th August 2026 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.


Alternative route is via: New Road, Castle Road, Stoke Road, Lynn Road, Setch Road, Wormegay Road (North Runcton, West Winch, Wormegay, Tottenhill, Middleton).


The works promoter for this restriction/closure is: Norfolk County Council.

Vehicular access will be permitted to a final destination in the Road where signs indicating such access is possible and permitted are in place.


The Order shall automatically revoke on the completion of the works when the closure is no longer necessary or otherwise on the 5th August 2026 without further notice.

If necessary, the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date the Order is effective.


A person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the closure imposed by the Order shall be guilty of an offence.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.

WTRO6905

 Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the “Order”) (WTRO6905) affecting the C57 St Germans Road from 950 metres west of its junction with the A10 Lynn Road for 20 metres westwards (the “Road”) in the Parish of West Winch to facilitate overhead lines and pole replacement works, the Road will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is anticipated to be between 09:00 and 12:30 on the 26th June 2026, but may continue to be closed until the 7th August 2026 where the closure is still required beyond the anticipated dates.


Alternative route is via: St Germans Road, Lynn Road, Watlington Road, Church Road, School Road, Station Road, Fitton Road, Mill Road (Watlington, Wiggenhall St. Germans, Wiggenhall St. Mary Magdalen, West Winch, Wormegay, Tottenhill).


The works promoter for this closure is: UK Power Networks.
